Prof. Dr. Farooque Hassan (Vice Chancellor) and Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal Rajput (Pro Vice Chancellor) of SBBUVAS addressed the inauguration ceremony of the FAO-sponsored training and the World Food Day celebration. Mr. James Okath, FAO Provincial Head , delivered a speech during the training session and the World Food Day celebration at SBBUVAS, highlighting key initiatives for sustainable food systems. Mr. James Okath, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Ad Secretary of Livestock, visited the food stalls during the World Food Day celebration at SBBUVAS. Add Secretary Dr. Ali Akhter Shahani, Dr. Hizbullah Bhutto (DG Livestock), and Dr. Noman (FAO Lead) also addressed the attendees at the training inauguration and World Food Day program.
SBBUVAS Sakrand Celebrates Defence Day of Pakistan Under the leadership of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Farooque Hassan, SBBUVAS Sakrand proudly celebrated Defence Day of Pakistan on 6th September 2024 at the New Campus. This event was held to honor the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives and to salute the veterans—our national heroes—who fought valiantly to defend and safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan. Various speakers highlighted the significance of this day, emphasizing that 6th September, Defence Day, serves as a reminder to all Pakistanis that courage, unity, and dedication are the foundation of the nation's identity and a guiding force for its future progress. A special note of gratitude goes to Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal Rajput, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SBBUVAS, and Dr. Hidyatullah Soomro, Director HRM, SBBUVAS, for their unwavering support in making this event a resounding success.
On 14th August 2024, Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal Rajput, Pro Vice Chancellor of SBBUVAS, proudly hoisted the Pakistan flag at the new campus of SBBUVAS, marking the nation's Independence Day with great enthusiasm. In addition to the flag hoisting ceremony, Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal Rajput also presided over a student debate competition, showcasing the oratory talents of SBBUVAS students. The day's events also included a tree plantation drive, where Prof. Dr. Zahid Iqbal Rajput planted saplings at the new campus, reinforcing the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Muhammad Khan Bhangwar, Registrar of SBBUVAS Sakrand, was also present during these significant occasions, contributing to the success of the events.
On May 29th, 2024, the 12th Syndicate meeting of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (SBBUVAS), Sakrand, was successfully convened at the university's main campus. The meeting was presided over by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. M. Farooque Hassan . During the session, syndicate members engaged in discussions on several key agenda items, addressing important matters for the university's progress and development.
On 03 February 2024 , The 11th Syndicate meeting of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Sakrand successfully held at the main campus of the University under the chairmanship / Chaired by Prof. Dr. M. Farooque Hassan worthy Vice Chancellor during the meeting of the syndicate the important agenda's were discussed between syndicate members.
On 17th January 2024 , SINDHI ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA (SANA) visited Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Sakrand. A seminar was conducted for the betterment in the knowledge of the Students of the University. The Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Farooque Hassan presented shields and longi appreciated them on visiting the University & sharing the knowledge of Scholarship's of U.S.A with the students of SBBUVAS.
